I grew up in Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at George Mason University. I then spent six years as a nurse in the emergency departments and critical care units of Washington, D.C. During this time, I also worked for a non-profit organization providing forensic nursing services to trauma patients and spearheaded a city-wide outreach effort in partnership with several universities. At Owen, I serve as co-chair of the Vanderbilt Business Healthcare Conference, a fellow for the Center for Healthcare Marketing Innovation, and the Director of Operations for Project Pyramid within the Turner Family Center. For our Project Pyramid 2017 trip, my team and I worked closely with the founder of a health insurance crowdfunding platform in Ghana, stoking my passion for social impact. I am pursuing a career in Healthcare Operations and spent my summer as a Redwoods Summer Associate at DaVita in Denver, Colorado, working on kidney care specific strategy. I enjoy travel, live music, and being outdoors.
