Isabella joined Owen in December of 2019 after completing her B.A. in Social Entrepreneurship from Belmont University. She continues her education at the institution pursuing a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership and serves as the Administrative Assistant in the Recruiting & Admissions Office/Career Management Center.
Isabella’s nonprofit initiatives began at the age of nineteen as she founded her first nonprofit, Soaring Soul Compositions, which serves families affected by pediatric cancer. Her second project, the self-published collection of works by survivors of relationship violence entitled The Truth is Our Sword, further expanded her range within the sector and lead her to her future internship at End Slavery Tennessee.
As a vegan and registered yoga teacher, she hopes to bring compassion and mindfulness to all of her work, living by the yogic principle of non-violence.
In addition to providing general administrative assistance, Isabella will support students at the Turner Family Center as they explore the complexities of the social enterprise space and their career goals within it.
