M.Ed. ’18 | International Education Policy & Management
I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Chinese Studies and Philosophy. I continued to study Chinese and teach English in Taiwan afterwards. My interest in international education brought me to Peabody’s International Education Policy and Management program. Over the summer I worked at UCLA as a research intern on a program focused on getting underserved and minority youth informed about the college going process.
I believe in education as a form of development. During Project Pyramid 2016-2017, I worked on developing impact metrics for a pay-it-forward loan program in Nicaragua. As Director of Curriculum for the 2017-18 year, I hope to expand my knowledge of social enterprise and improve the student experience.
