Upcoming Immersion Treks:

Murfreesboro Road Immersion Trek: October 22, 2021

The Murfreesboro Road corridor is one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods of Nashville. Today, it is a mix of rapidly gentrifying areas, public and low-income housing, and industrial areas that are beginning to be developed.

The Immersion will be a tour of a variety of social enterprises, ranging from a community-run coffee shop focused on skills development for local youth to a farm working to become the leading producer of worm compost in the country. We’ll meet with founders and leaders of these organizations to learn about how they were created and how they think about social impact in Nashville.

Check back here throughout the school year for more info on upcoming Immersions.
