Are you a graduate student interested in expanding your leadership skills and involvement in the social enterprise sector? Apply for a 2024-2025 TFC Executive Board position!
As the TFC is a student-led organization, the Executive Board is integral to the TFC’s mission and functioning. Applications to join the Executive Board open annually, providing interdisciplinary Vanderbilt graduate students with the opportunity to ideate, design, plan, and execute opportunities for fellow students to engage with the social entrepreneurial landscape.

Lunch & Learn with Professor Isaac Yao Addae (02/20)

Interested in learning about the role of tech-driven social entrepreneurship in solving global challenges? Join Professor Isaac Yao Addae, an award-winning educator, author, speaker, and strategist. He serves as the Small & Minority Business Liaison in the Nashville Mayor’s Office. Previously, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer of Pivot Technology School(a workforce development firm). He has a decade of experience as a business professor, most recently at the Tennessee State University College of Business (undergraduate) and the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management (MBA). Isaac possesses a decade of experience in technology consulting and systems development across the automotive, defense, and information technology industries (IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, Ford, Raytheon). As an engaged servant leader, Professor Addae is a board member of Corner To Corner, Knowledge Bank, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, and former chair of the Nashville Health and Educational Facilities board. In Fall 2021, Isaac released his first book, Black Boy Fly: Embracing My Ancestry, Blackness, and Purpose in the African Diaspora. The book documents his life as a 1st-generation Ghanaian-American and serves as a tool to empower Black males to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness.
